MOVING INTO 2026

Coppermine stepped into Bel Air Athletic Club with the goal of preserving the “second home” feeling—while updating the space for today’s families and athletes.

General Manager Maria Lorenzo listed some of the most visible additions: “We have new equipment, new locker rooms, a new personal training studio, our café is back up and running, and there’s hot yoga.”

Save the Date: Fit for Warmth

Friday, January 9 — Coppermine in Bel Air is hosting free fitness classes in exchange for a donation of new or gently used children’s winter items (coats, hats, scarves, and more). All donations will be delivered to students in need.

Donation drop-off: Please label your items “Fit for Warmth” or Attn: Lori Berry.

  • RIDE (Fire & Ice Ride) — 5:30 PM

  • Core Pilates — 5:15–6:00 PM

  • Core Pilates — 6:15–7:00 PM

  • Turn Up Dance — 6:00–7:00 PM

  • Turf/HIIT — 6:00–7:00 PM

  • Barre Burn — 6:00–7:00 PM

  • Wall Yin Yoga — 6:00–7:00 PM

Award-winning chef Zack Trabbold and Natalie Trabbold have built two community-loved spots—The Local and Natalie’s Seafood Kitchen— from scratch.

For January, they shared two seasonal mocktails (one from each restaurant) so you can bring the flavors of winter home—perfect for a healthier fresh start that still feels festive. City Lifestyle

Ingredients: blueberry compote, fresh mint, lemon juice, agave, club soda

Make it: shake compote + agave + mint + lemon → double-strain → top with ice + club soda

Winter Lemonade

Ingredients: brown sugar & vanilla simple syrup, fresh lemonade, ginger beer, cinnamon stick, dried citrus
