Hosting and need inspiration?

Use this simple charcuterie board cheat sheet.

Harco Style

The art of charcuterie explained in a few simple steps

  • 3–5 cheeses • 1 soft + 1 firm + 1 tangy/creamy

  • 2–3 meats 1 mild + 1 spicy/peppery + 1 sliced

  • 2–3 Crunch/Carbs (the “vehicle”) • 1 plain cracker + 1 sturdy + 1 baguette

  • 2 pickled/briny • Olives + cornichons is the easiest combo

  • 2 fresh 1 juicy + 1 sliceable

  • 2 sweets/spreads • 1 jam + 1 honey (mustard is optional but great)

  • Garnish • Pine or Rosemary sprigs are great for the holidays

Assembly logic:

  • Place cheeses first (spread them around like anchors).

  • Add 2 little bowls (jam + olives).

  • Fold meats into rolls or florets.

  • Add crackers in 2–3 stacks (so people can reach).

  • Fill gaps with fruit + nuts + sweets.

  • Finish with garnish.
